By turning threat into thread, Adidas and Parley aim to end plastic pollution by eliminating plastic bags, micro beads, and virgin plastics from their supply chain, stop plastic before it entered the oceans, and drive eco-innovation forward.
I loved the model and the mission around products that combat plastic pollution, and was excited to get my hands on some Adidas Parley swag to test out.
They sent two Voyager Hoodies for my brother and I to try on our morning trail runs.
Soft, Thin, and Insanely Comfortable
The soft, stretchy fabric that makes up the Voyager Parley Hoodie couldn’t be more comfortable. This lightweight long sleeve moves as you move, and is as breathable as it is flexible.
Really before even putting this shirt on, I was blown away by the feel of it. The fit is relaxed but athletic, and features a pullover hood that’s perfect for when your run gains altitude and you need a little something extra for wind or cold weather.
On it’s own, and if you’re actively moving/working hard, you should be comfortable in this down to 40-45 degrees F. Below that and you’ll want a light wind/waterproof shell or a slim down layer. Above 70 degrees F, you may start to get pretty hot, but it does wick sweat like magic and the flow of the fit helps.
