Stunning Carved Wood Phone Cases, Plus A Wood Wallet That Feels Just Like Leather

Carved is known for their stunningly beautiful wood phone case designs, and now they’ve also just dropped the first ever flexible wood wallet that feels just like leather!

First, the phone cases…

Right now, my iPhone X is rocking the Carved Mount Everest Engraved Black Traveler Case. Because, mountains, of course.

I like to think it serves as my daily inspiration to train harder and dream bigger, whether I’m literally thinking about Everest or not. And it’s also a nice balance having the front of my phone be all tech and connectedness, but when it’s face down, the wooden carved mountain brings me back to the outdoors. This thing is stunning and I get comments every time I pull my phone out.

Carved got its start back in 2011 when John Webber and Grant Sassaman bought a CNC machine and started making wood veneer stick on backs for the iPhone 4, iPad 2, and Kindle Fire. After a friend suggested putting a bumper and the wood back together, and after 2 1/2 years of experimenting, their first solid wood phone cases were born.

While phone cases are the bread and butter of Carved, the company has evolved their craft and now produces beautifully designed wooden docks, speakers, power banks, and…

the pièce de résistance…

The Carved Arbor Wood Wallet

The Arbor, Carved’s latest masterpiece, is the first ever flexible wood wallet. Another show stopper conversation starter. The Arbor Wallet launched on Kickstarter in August of 2017 and raised over $50,000.

I didn’t realize this was wood when I first took it out of the box. It looks and feels totally like leather. But sure enough, it’s made entirely from wood and they finish it with a blend of oils and waxes that really make the wood pop with an amazing woody smoky smell.

Mine (pictured above) is the Walnut Folded Wood Wallet which retails at $65. There are a few other woods available like maple, cherry, ebony, and walnut burl, and the wallets come either folded or minimalist.

The wooden bumper phone cases range from $24 to $55, with my Mount Everest Engraved case on the lower end at $29
